This is only a small part of the story regarding USAs involvement in ukraine. USA heavily reacted to the pro-russian election results and put forth a full on propaganda machine to establish their pro-american government, this was of course to ensure access to ukraine's sweet sweet resources and prevent the Russian expansion of influence and resource access.
