The drugs are either; chemical coshes or highly advertised and ineffective placebo.
depression is a natural response to sadness and loss. We humans are well prepared to work through sadness and loss, we dont need drugs to do that.
25 years as a psychotherapist, 99% of my clients should not have been prescribed anti-depressants for, bereavement from, family death, relationship breakdown or job loss. They just needed to work throught the loss with compassion, support and love.
