Ok, but do we need WiFi on school buses?

We do if we haven't finished our homework. I did a ton of homework on the bus. But these days a lot of homework requires connectivity, even for routine assignments.

This can easily be changed.

Likey not (no justification needed!)

The requirements for internet to do homework is bonkers. I can't imagine the temptation for distractions.

As TFA points out, plenty do their homework on the bus.

Remember, the cruelty and supremacy is the point.

Education should be an economic issue, where having educated workers contributes to our economy, and maybe even helps keep folks off government services.

Education is a core democratic requirement. If we have universal suffrage without any testing, it is in the interest of society to have well educated citizens.

Except government services want people to be dependent on them. Doesn’t mean they desire to actually help them. But the government wants to be wanted.

Education would give you the tools to find out whether this is true or not. (It isn't.)
