Bose SoundTouch Support Discontinued (bose.com)

The key bit of the press release:

> After February 18, certain features — including access to integrated music services like Spotify and TuneIn, as well as multi-room playback — will no longer be available. However, if your SoundTouch product supports Bluetooth®, AUX, or HDMI, you’ll still be able to enjoy high-quality audio playback from connected devices.

When they discontinued the line in 2021, they explicitly mentioned they would maintain support of the SoundTouch app. I have a Wave IV and thankfully didn't buy into the multi-room playback system, so at least the radio, CD player, and airplay will still work. Except I primarily used it as an alarm clock with a streaming service, so this really sucks.

They gave a consolation prize of 25% off on some Bose speakers, but why would you want more Bose speakers if you can't trust them to keep their word?

Synchronized, multi-room, multi-speaker playback is the only reason I bought Bose Soundtouch!

Anybody know of Apple Airplay, synchronized speakers (and AUX-IN support from an amp) other than overprices Sonos?

I think Wiim can do this

Synchronized multi-room, multi-speaker playback is the only reason I bought Bose Soundtouch.

Anybody know of other synchronizable multi-speaker systems for Apple Airplay besides overpriced Sonos?
