Ask HN: Can people please stop commenting on whether a submission is AI?

So many posts where half of the discussion is people debating whether or not the post is AI.

It sucks all of the energy out of the site, and it would be better to point out the ways that the information is wrong, rather than whether it uses phrasing and punctuation that you associate with AI.

Do you have a couple of good example threads where this gets over the top? I think I'd rather err on the side of calling out AI. For the people who like AI generated content, they know how to generate it for their own consumption. And it should even be better, cause it could be personalized.

For what it is worth, I would rather read through speculative AI policing than to read through actual AI slop.

What's the value of pointing out AI slop information error? I'm certainly not looking for an opportunity to debate with the AI or otherwise correct it or change it's opinion.

At least one of them is human (until we have AI pointing out AI slop.. turtles all the way down).

I'd prefer it if there was less AI content overall but given where I'm posting I don't expect that either.
