Cocos2D is really cool and incredible supported around the world. It is the most used 2D engine for iOS and it's ported to the most used platforms: iOS, Android, Windows Mobile, OSX, Linux, Windows, HTML5. It also contains Javascript bindings so you can use the same code in all platforms taking advantage of the native performance.
