Opera had P2P (bittorrent) client for ages (even though it's implementation was(probably still is) really disappointing).

Edit: "Distributed P2P"?? You need to clarify that, since this sounds like like "Database-ready MySQL". (P2P is "distributed" by design)

BitTorrent is for file transfer. P2P HTTP is for anything, e.g. chat or games.
