If you actually read the case study, there are 0 mentions of Unity. This PDF is about Multiplay (acquired by Unity in 2017) and the backend; the game is on a highly modified Source engine.

I've been using the intel realsense D415 recently on linux/windows and it works quite well.


Can concur. I'm running a pair of D435 under Linux. Still some teething issues, see the SDK and issues at [0], but the quality of the data out of these things is amazing compared to previous generation sensors.
